About Me

Licensed tour guide, mahjongg maven, fiction writer.

  • 40 years of court reporting experience has exposed me to the inner life of the New York City Civic Center.  Did you know there was an almshouse on the site of the current Tweed Courthouse? Did you know the City of New York had a professional whipper on its payroll?  Would you like to see the real  "Law and Order" first hand?  Take my tour; watch and learn!
  • As a docent for the Municipal Art Society I've received intensive training on the history of Grand Central Terminal (Not station, where trains pass through, but terminal, where trains terminate) and I give tours several times a month.  MAS gives the official tour of GCT every day from 12:30 to 1:45.
  • Working part time has its advantages - namely, time to write!  I've published my first short story and my novel is in the pipeline.  Check out my author page for details.
  • Want to know more about National Mah Jongg League mahjongg?  Check out my blog or my rules page - click the Mahjongg tab above.

Need a tour guide, a fiction writer or a mahjongg teacher?  Send me an e-mail!
Sorry - not available for court reporting services - the government has me under lock and key...
