  4. thank you for a wonderful summer of love presentation. altho i am a few years younger and grew up in northern california, your presentation captured much of the cultural cross currents i, too, experienced in the 1970's. for example, the joy of peaceful living and free expression and the horrors of the vietnam war were in juxtaposition every day. something that impressed me about your presentation is your acknowledging the profound effect on society of women being able to manage our reproductive health, and how that was essential to everything that followed. i think the revolutionary impact of the birth control pill is inexplicably somehow often overlooked for understanding how our culture changed. thank you sister!
